I quit my job and moved to Rome.

Not on a whim — on a bet. A bet on myself, on the things I actually care about building, and on the belief that comfort is the enemy of everything worth doing.

I'm Lucas Simpson, 23, from New Jersey. After college I took the conventional route — got the job, showed up every day — and knew pretty quickly it wasn't it. So I left, moved to Italy, and got to work.

Here I'm building two companies with my brother: Luda AI and ENVOWL — both rooted in the same idea that technology should genuinely improve people's lives. Alongside that I create content, design, and document the whole journey publicly — partly to hold myself accountable, partly because stepping in front of a camera was one of the scariest things I could do, and that's exactly why I did it.

What this life has taught me fast: discipline isn't optional, time management is everything, and running a business with your brother is one of the greatest and most humbling things you can do.

I have a passion for content creation, graphic design, and entrepreneurship — and I plan to pursue far more of all three. There's something in the works to help others take their own leap.

The recurring theme in everything I do is this: it's never too late to start. Never too late to try. Never too late to step out of your comfort zone. Where your fear is — there your task is.
